Started a new sourdough pizza crust recipe last night. We were looking forward to the pizzas being cooked on the pellet grill this evening. But the break in the rain wasn't going to last...it's storming out, again!
No worries, got a stone heating up in the oven. 1st pizza has smoked mozzarella, homemade pepperoni, onion, pepper, and garlic. My pizza had smoked mozzarella, anchovies, capers, oil-cured olives, red pepper, garlic, and fresh basil. They were good, and we liked the new version of the crust a lot! With a few glasses of pinot, it made for a nice relaxing meal!
