Tried to make the most of a rainy day yesterday
« Reply #-1 on: May 24, 2016, 06:41:52 AM »
1/3 lb  burgers with jowl bacon and grilled onions along with my first attempt at some Hassleback-ish potatoes (EVOO and Kosher Salt to start, brushing them down with garlic butter after the slices separated a bit).

...good stuff!

How long did it take for the potatoes to finish cooking?
I always shy away from potatoes on the grill because of the long cook time.
Maybe these don't take so long to cook because of the cuts, huh?

Spuds will take anywhere from 45 mins to an hour.   Test the IT and at 200 they are ready

Now to cheat a little, nuke them for a few mins to get them started if in a rush.  I do this a lot if I have a lot to cook and sort on time

About an hour (-ish)... I wasn't really watching the clock.  You can't beat the potatoes that you get out of the SRG (regular ol' baked included).  I cooked them first, then tented them with foil while I grilled the rest.

Same here on the baked... thinking of surpising the wife with spuds for lunch one day that she is not working... maybe a small pork cooked up to put on top....

Hmm...

Now you have gone and made me hungry with all the pictures of good looking food!
