a fine saturday evening

I threw some bacon on the rec tec tonight....turned out tasty!  cut some maters, washed some lettuce, sliced some french bread and got the duke's mayo out! made a batch of homemade margaritas that went pretty nicely with the meal.

as far as i am concered, if you are not hovering over the sink with tomato and bacon juice streaming down your arms, you are eating a BLT the wrong way.

have a great evening!

I like you.  You got style.  I completely agree about eating a sandwich over the sink.  I love margaritas.

I couldn't agree with both of you any more!
I love tequila even margaritas!  8)
And many years ago Jay Leno said when he came home from a long day taping The Tonight Show, he'd make a big messy sandwich and hover over the sink eating it. He said it's a batchelor thing.....crumbs, juice, God forbid bacon, all falls in sink. Easy to rinse away as if you never had that sandwich! :D

Ok I'll take a margarita please!

ha! thats totally right on.  if i did not hover over the sink, I'd need to be hosed off.  i am indeed single and thank god no one was here watching me. my dogs were waiting patiently for a tasty morsel...and they dont really care that i was a mess.  im pretty sure i had mayo and bacon grease everywhere but man was it good! its pretty hot here in the south already...it seemed like a great margarita day. unfortunately as i am aging more than one or two makes me feel like the devil is in my stomach breathing fire into my esophagus.  probably TMI but hey...aging has to be laughed at or cried over.

Love BLT's. Homegrown maters are a ways off yet in South Dakota and store bought just ain't the same. If you ever get the chance try what we call a WBLT. It's a BLT with a pan fried walleye fillet added. Over the top I'm tellin' you!

Outstanding all around. My wife and I have been know to eat over the sink a time or two. Mostly when eating fried chicken.  :D

My homemade margaritas usually contain tequila and a slice of lime  ;D
Love to cook and eat
