Just back from my annual weeklong camping trek with 8 good friends. Seven days of food, bonfires, beer, bocce ball, and some of the best racing in North America at Road America. I brought the PBC and we had chickens, pulled pork, and ribs cooked on it. Sorry some meals have no pics....gets hectic with 9 hungry guys in camp! Road America, a 4 mile course with 14 turns, is arguably the finest track in America and we go for the Weathertec 500 which is a LeMans-style race based on elapsed time rather than laps. Mrs Hikerman is cool with me going as long as I bring back the best bratwursts from Sheboygan (10 miles away) and a case of New Glarus Belgian Red.
Last nights welcome home meal....and yes NO BEER BOILED BRATS for us!!!!!!

The brats were served on crusty fresh baked brat buns, with sauerkraut and mustard, with dill pickles, toato pasta salad and mac salad. Mmmmm I'm ready to go back!
