First time making turkey jerky. I used 1 pound of ground turkey and a partial pack of Backwoods teriyaki seasoning and cure.
After mixing the turkey I rolled them out in 1/8 inch pieces. Before putting them in the smoker I used some coarse ground
pepper on a few pieces. Smoked with Lumberjack Cherry pellets at 170 degrees in the Grid Iron. Jerky was done in 3 1/2 hours.
I will definitely be making these again. Excellent flavor and just the right size for us.
