Italian Boule on the D. Boone
« Reply #-1 on: November 10, 2016, 07:24:55 PM »
Did a sorta quick bread bake today. Got a batch of bread going in the Zojirushi bread maker on the dough setting. It mixes, kneads, rises, kneads and rises before being ready for oven or in this case the pellet grill. The pellet grill needed a cleaning today so when putting it back together I left the wind guards out, along with the drip pan. Used one grate and a 15" stone, grill was set at 400F and once it got there let it warm the stone for another 30 minutes.  I sharpened my knives this morning and as a result my slashes went a bit deeper than planned! ::) An eggwhite wash completed the prebake. Twenty-five minutes later...ecstasy!!!! 8)
The fourth shot is with flash off.
