Bread making/ Good starter books.
« Reply #-1 on: April 03, 2017, 11:39:44 AM »
So after seeing all kinds of homemade bread on this and other forums I decided I want to give it a try. I don't have a Kitchen Aid mixer or food processor or bread machine. I really want to do that No Knead Method. I would like something that has recipes for homemade buns, bread and maybe some pizza dough.
Will this book have what I'm looking for? My Bread: The Revolutionary No-Work, No-Knead Method, or should I look at a different book.
Also, what is some of the must have equipment I'll need for this endeavor.

Thanks everyone.

I also have Don's book for several years now..good book and ihave the Italian Baker for Artisian breads form Italy. Amazing how many different kinds of bread are out there, BUT,,there are so many free recipes on the net that you really don't need a book. You also don't need a KitchenAid, but I do admit they are great..I also use a bread machine for mixing only too..if you get into it you may change yoru mind about some kind of machine. A mixing bowl and utensil of your choice is all you really need for No Knead Breads.   .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Thanks Pam and Don. My mom had a bread machine. I think my brother ended up with it and was going to throw it out. Making phone call now!

Just do a search on u-tube for no knead bread. All you really need is a bowl and a pan to cook it in.
Try this one.......
