Sunday Ribs again
« Reply #-1 on: April 29, 2018, 10:54:53 PM »
Went to the store to get a leg of lamb, but they were out so I bought beef ribs.

Slathered with mustard, some gunpowder, rib rub, and salt. Into the smoker at 250 for 2.5 hours.

Took them out to wrap.

Wrapped in foil with Parkay, BBQ sauce, and some paprika

After another hour foiled, I took them out and poured out the juice. Put it in a pancake batter dispenser. Let it sit a while and the grease goes to the top. Pull the handle and the good stuff pours out of the bottom. It comes out thicker and with more flavor.
You can see the separation in these 2 photos

Poured the juice on the ribs and put them back in for another hour

Sauteed some brussel sprouts

Plated with some corn.

Normally I cook them longer when foiled. This time I only did an hour. They came out very tender without falling apart.

Why couldn't Noah have swatted the 2 mosquitoes?.
