What do I and TIMG have in common?
« Reply #-1 on: June 17, 2018, 03:30:15 PM »
We have great families that make us happy and every once in a while (bold faced lie actually, more like always) and let us indulge in things we don't need, lol.

Case in point. I had been talking about a boat with my wife. Nothing too serious as I know that the happiest days for a boat owner are the day you buy AND the day you sell it. During the week she had been looking on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist at boats, sending me links on my phone. Well, to make a long story short, we ended up buying a boat already named "Jenny". The guy was a big Forrest Gump fan. Not to get sidetracked but I too am a Forrest Gump fan. It's one of those movies that you're flipping channels and come across and end up watching the rest of it, lol.

She needs a little TLC but we'll get'er there soon. I hope to take her out next weekend. Should be fun!

My son got out and washed it a bit ago, he's looking forward to going out on it! The guy also threw in an older jet ski for free, getting all of that home was fun. I had to put the ski in the bed of the truck and the trailer IN the boat, lol. It worked.

Here's where I parked last night. Too tired to back in and unload.

Here is my wife and son doing a little cleaning. My son's hand is on the words "Jenny", lol. Probably not the first time he's had his hands on a "Jenny" :P

I am really enjoying my father's day and I hope the rest of you dads do too!

Congrats on your new toys Jason!

Thanks Mike, I only wish I had them when the kids were younger. Better late than never.

I grew up in Augusta - so close to Clark's Hill Lake - and spent summers skiing and fishing.

I think you're gonna like that boating thing...
