Thought I would make some beef and baby backs to eat while watching the game.
The BBs rubbed with some Star Market Red
the beef ribs rubbed
After 3 hours, pulled and wrapped the BBs in foil. Put some parkay, brown sugar, but used honey powder instead of honey.
After about 1 1/2 hours pulled them and un-foiled them. I poured the juice into a pancake batter dispenser.
This is an easy way to separate the fat. Just pour it into the dispenser, let it sit for a bit and the grease floats to the top. Pull the handle and pour the juice out the bottom into a bowl until just before the fat gets to the opening. Leaves you with thick juice with little fat.
Poured it on the ribs and back into the smoker for about an hour. Here they are when I took them off.
Plated with some fries and salad.
The ribs were great and the Tide rolled so all was good in the Robin house.
