Not a death sentence by any means but changes need to be made. I have been going through a lot lately, this is just another thing added to the list. I have been watching my carb and sugar intake which I've done before but I'd be lying if I said it didn't suck, lol!
It's funny how the body CRAVES carbs!! Also I find it funny how I have been having ideas on concoctions to make, knowing damn well I can't eat it. One such creation I had in mind is taking the meat off of the chipotle bbq baby backs that I make and giving it a rough chop. Mix in some more of the the sauce and crisp it up on the flat top. Put that on a giant flour tortilla like the burrito shops use, add some brisket baked beans, slaw, a few hand cut fries, mac and cheese, queso, jack cheese, my wife's smoked salsa, pickled jalapenos and roll it up and toast it on the flat top.
It's diabetes on a plate but maybe I make it and have a few bites and let my son finish it, lol! It would be treadmill time after eating. I find using my Bowflex Treadclimber for 20 minutes REALLY drops my blood sugar. Cardio is the key.
At any rate, I haven't posted in a while, figured I'd chime in.
