I like H57 over A-1 any day. We have a bottle of each and I just ask the wife why she keeps buying A-1 as we both like H57 better. She said for when we run out of H57 :)

Amen. My uncle used to say, "What is the meat bad?" I you asked for steak sauce.

I've seen people ask for it at prime steak houses. I would like that fine piece of prime beef cooked medium-well with A1 on the side. Stop the insanity!

Heck - I like 57 on toast! If I make a good steak - I agree - no sauce, but for burgers, baked taters, toast, and when SWMBO buys the thin steak on sale... 57 to the rescue! Oh and when we go with her family to the "bargain" restaurant - yup!

I think a bunch of us is from the steak in the broiler, steak sauce generation. The best was when Pops would grab the Wonder Bread and soak up the grease in the broiler tray with 3 or 4 slices and give one to me and my brother....gotta love that grease bread...........Pops just hit 84 and me and little bro are no worse for wear..........
