BOY did I have fun today
« Reply #-1 on: June 22, 2013, 07:02:56 PM »
A local gun store was hosting a shooting event. I am more of a hunter as it has been a very long time since I got to play with army toys.

Anyway I shot a few mags with this one. Took me a mag to get used to it.

Then I shot as much as they would let me on this baby. I just wanted to take him home.

I did shoot others but just kept coming back to these two. Both of these belonged to the Rep and were set up for him but I was able to pick them up and shoot very well.

I can't say how big my smile  ;D ;D ;D

Painful to pay for ammunition (just for the fun of it) these days.  Even loading is getting ridiculously expensive.

CDN - Sounds like a great day to me! 1/2  down the mountain from me is a range that we can shoot 800 yards - and I do enjoy distance shooting ;)

Tee knows I like to shoot at longer ranges, too.  I got a call from my son this evening on his way home from a big match.  He had gone up to Northern Virginia to a regional NRA match.  He has been shooting really well lately.  Came in second overall!  He won another gun.  (I wonder if I can talk him into giving his old Dad an early birthday present.  Probably not.)  Maybe I can trade some of my Bresaola, Pancetta and Bourbon Bacon Marmalade for it.  I can try.

I love the look and feel of Kimber arms. I was going to say that 1911 was want I wanted until I saw the tactical. Want a great time you must of had.
