Rufus and RaeNell were having a party to commemorate their anniversary when RaeNell looked out the back door and saw Rufus on the back porch all by himself. She went out and saw him wistfully staring out the sunset and saw a tear flowing down his cheek.
He looked at her and tearfully said, "RaeNell we have been married 25 years, ain't we?"
She replied, "Yes we have honey. I didn't realize that you were so emotionally about it."
"Do you remember when your daddy the judge caught us making love in the loft of the hay barn?"
Giggling and blushing she whispered, "I sure do."
"Well, do you recall he said if I didn't marry you I'd go to jail to for 25 years?"
"Yes I do."
Sobbing lightly Rufus said, "Do you realize if I hadn't marry you I'd be a free man today?"
