HELP! Info needed if anyone know's of this stuffer
« Reply #-1 on: September 03, 2013, 10:29:03 AM »
This is Dad's old stuffer, it's been around a long time!  I use to make sausage with my Dad when I was very young and never forgot what he taught me (but it's hazy)

First off I need a seal for this monster cause the one in there has a few worn spots.  If anyone has used this brand or knows of it please feel free to ed-u-ma-cate me.  ;)

I don't know the brand....But - take the seal to Grainger, or a gasket and seal company, and hey should be able to match it close enough.

Nice looking stuffer!

Well I did find this place http://www.sausagesource.com/catalog/index.html  So I called and he said he can get parts he just needs the size.  When I looked at his stuffers he had one that fit this one (but updated) and it was well over $600!!!!   ???

I think parts will fix this one just fine  ;)

So were Tommy's grandparents... ;)...
Hey Tommy - do you think your G-parents brought it over form Italy when they came here?

Wow, Tommy, that looks like one heck of a workhorse stuffer. I wouldn't mind finding one of those.

It's a big'n!  The tube is 5 1/2 wide and should hold about 15 lbs

I'm going to try and order a seal in the morning.  But really, I think it's to big for me but I ain't about to give it up  ;)
