Sept 11 2013

Monday my wife got her two new knees. That evening they had her up and walked to the bathroom. She is doing fine and I will pick her up tomorrow and take her to a local nursing home. They have a good rehab center there and she will be there two weeks or less. I will be happy to get her back home; the house seems empty without her!

I have been cooking kind of light since I don’t have my chief bottle washer; trying to save on dishes.
Sandman gave me some of his buckboard bacon so I had a BBBLT sandwich. I was able to find two small tomatoes from my garden to use. I had a half a baguette to use and toasted it and had mayo on the sandwich. My side was some hopin john.

Plenty of bacon on that sandwich... I love it!

Good to hear all went well with her surgery. It is amazing how they can do double knee replacements and have you walking the same day!
