Finally got to make Italian Sausage
« Reply #-1 on: November 16, 2013, 11:19:26 PM »
My Brother in-law and sister came over to make pasta sauce and sausage.  Now this is my first try at stuffing sausage without my father so the finale product didn't look as good as his but it tasted great!

I made a mild and a hot Italian sausage from a recipe that Kimmie got for me from an old friend of hers.

Tenthunter gave me a good recipe but it will have to wait til next try.

My oldest son was home from the academy this weekend (he graduates next week)  So he and my brother in-law helped  me out while making the links

Thanks guys, the sausage turned out really good just the size of each link was an issue but hey first time aint bad  ;)

As for the knee(s) not good still having issues. If it were not for my BIL and son I would not not tried to make this yet.  Hope to be back up and cooking soon but just don't know.  Heck of a lot of pain when knees are bone on bone you know  :(
