Scally…Once you try stuffing the large diameter ( hog gut casings ) your will REALLY appreciate how pretty these are.
The smaller the diameter - the harder it is for me to make nice sausages/sticks. Maybe just me. But - I think that the timing and your dexterity are far more critical on the snack sticks ;)So - when you see some that are "factory perfect" like Rick makes - I really marvel at them!

yo ricky. still got my address right? I love slim jims. always have 5 or 6 in my truck. my wife always says, what are you going to do w/ those? if I'm out in the dessert stranded I will have food. duh.....
