Howdy! I'm new here and introducing myself. My name is Kathy - nickname Wulfwen. Two years ago I bought a little Brinkman bullet smoker and was totally hooked! Last year I went a little insane and bought a used trailer smoker - see all the turkeys in my profile pix.
A friend of mine mentioned that her husband was interested in learning how to use a smoker, so I passed the Brinkman on to them, giving myself an excuse to buy a new smoker. I just bought a Pit Barrel and am eagerly awaiting arrival.
So far I've tried pork butt, turkey, pork leg (fresh ham), stuffed jalapenos and hamburgers on the smoker. I also tried to do bacon, but I had way too much salt on it...FYI, salt pork is also delicious! Looking forward to brisket and meatloaf and and and everything else you can smoke!
