Belly size?

How much do the pork bellies that you get weigh whole?

The butcher @ Publix says there are two to a case for $3.29/lb

I've ordered from there before, but I don't remember how big they were.

If I were to guess I would say they were in the 9 to 11 pound range, each. I seem to recall that it was a total of 21 pounds.

These are boneless, skin on.

I found this old thread from the last bacon party, and it seems like I was close, but no cigar... we started with 27lbs, one belly was 13lbs, the other 14lbs:

Last case I purchased was 4 and averaged 11 lbs each.  It might br worth it to call Costco and or SAMs
To see if they have them at a better price.  $3.00 + seems high.

My local butcher has whole belles ( skin on ) are $1.99 lb. I can buy one - or more at that price. He will cut them into manageable sizes for me at no cost. If you have a local butcher - it may be worth checking with him.

Sams didn't carry them last time I asked. I also asked at restaurant depot, no luck.
