Before I could do the wife's early birthday dinner I needed to cook a couple of whole yardbirds that were on sale for .90 a pound for some quick meals this week and I wanted to do a loaf of crusty rye bread.
I used 2 tsp.'s of caraway seeds but I think I either needed more or to do a rough crush on the seeds first to get more flavor out of them.
The first bird was seasoned with Penzy's BQ300 and it turned out pretty tasty.
I think my knife skills on chicken are improving, the scraps next to the carcass are treats for our old Basset Hound
And the second bird was seasoned with Penzy's Cajun Seasoning which was very good but not as spicy as I thought it would be. You can tell it had more sugar in it than I thought it would.
