So I finally picked a good campground to keep my trailer at. First order of business with the wife was I need a BBQ to keep there. Got the green light and got a 18.5 WSM

And this to monitor temps

Let's burn this baby in!

The igrill mini was crap right out of the box.. Will exchange it for a Maverick tomorrow

No idea why the igrill is so hit and miss. It is a great concept. Congrats on the new WSM

I have the original larger model and experienced no problems.

The new mini has a lot of issues. Battery life is one of them.

oh ya.  your are going to love it.  i make some of my best smoked food on my WSM's.  what's first cook buddy?  foil the pan and then put a alum foil pan w/ hot water in it.  it will help w/ keeping temps in check.

Awesome new toy Scally! I also do some of my best cooks on my WSM! It is a great cooker and very
easy to maintain temps once you get the vents dialed in.
