Pammie, I always hope for the best for you......unlike Dee, Tommy, Ken, etc. They want to see you heartbroken and depressed after the game.

I don't know who to root for. I like the Alabama band, but I also like the OSU cheerleaders. Both mascots are great characters. I'll just have to flip a coin.

All I know for sure is that I'll be rooting for Texas in the Houston Bowl on the 29th. I like their band the best....the Showband of the Southwest....they have never lost a halftime. Don't know much about the football team.

Now Pam, it is a good thing it is on New Year's day because if it was earlier then you would be sad much earlier. As far as betting, I am willing to bet a small token with anyone that is willing. Something small, like the loser sends the winner a bottle of their favorite sauce or rub. Any takers, let me know.

Yeah... think they are playing some no-name schools with crappy football programs from New York, or New Jersey, or New Hamphire...one of those "New States"....oooops - sorry Gus....

I am picking the Ducks to take it all. It will be nice to see a different team, and conference win the big game.
